I order some some coffee called Wolo Wio from the Indonesian island Flores for the first time and roasted it today to after first crack and but not into second crack and to about 450 degrees F. I bought this coffee not for its rating or description but simply because the name was so fun to say and I just wanted to try it. I know this is not the best reason to buy green coffee but home roasting is for fun and to try differing coffees from around the world. I brewed some today as well (I know with out letting it de-gas), but all in all it was not bad with slight citrus at first and a little acidic finish but perhaps that is because it has not degassed yet, I will test it tomorrow to see how it is. So today is Wolo Wio day and for the next few days I will be using this coffee.
